How the Journey Begin
Our mission extends beyond business – Building with
First Nation Communities is at the heart of what we do.
OG7GES Indigenous Group Inc. is a CCIB Indigenous Certified Business Co-Founded by Jesse St. Pierre (Mi-gi-sî-wi Was-ko Na-bew, Missanabie Cree First Nation) and Sebastien Garneau. We engaged Tracy Primeau to become our Strategic Indigenous Advisor, a proud member of the Nipissing First Nation. Tracy is one of the few women (and the only Indigenous one) to become a CNSC licensed operator at Bruce Power (the first at Bruce A) and the only female Shift Manager to work her way up from the shop floor. Tracy currently serves on many Board of Directors including Women in Nuclear Canada, Ontario Power Generation and the University of Waterloo.
We came together to combine decades of industry expertise with a deep commitment to Indigenous values and community-first engagement. Backed by strong industry networks and a proven team, we don’t just take on projects — we chart new paths, strengthen partnerships, and create opportunities that extend far beyond the job site.
The Initiative will involve engagement with Indigenous businesses and Reconciliation Action Plans within the Nuclear Industry. Tracy’s Indigenous knowledge is needed at decision-making tables. OG7GES recognizes that reconciliation is an ongoing process of learning and action, and we couldn’t ask for a better Indigenous leader than Tracy Primeau to guide us towards our goal of being a leader in this field.
