IES is a CCIB Indigenous Engineering Certified business formed in partnership with OG7GES Indigenous Group Inc./Next Structural Integrity (NSI). This collaboration aims to deliver engineering services to the nuclear sector, adhering to the approved CSA N299.1 quality assurance standards to guarantee that all projects meet the highest quality benchmarks.
Who we are
Indigenous Engineering Solutions is actively involved in engineering design and analysis. OG7GES Indigenous Group Inc, holds the majority ownership within IES but NSI (Next Structural Integrity), holds the other a majority stake. NSI provides a variety of multi-disciplinary engineering (mechanical, electrical, I&C, civil) and design services to its clientele. Delivering efficient and cost-effective engineering services to a range of industries including, but not limited to, Nuclear, Power Generation and Oil and Gas. We intend to leverage the extensive expertise of NSI when IES undertakes engineering tasks, utilizing the resources of IES’s owners to execute the work. IES employs over 100 engineers dedicated to significant projects at Bruce Power, Candu, and OPG.

Our Objective
Our objective is to position Indigenous Engineering Solutions Inc (IES) as the preferred Indigenous Engineering vendor to our clients, providing managed engineering services under our own Quality Assurance (QA) protocols (which have been approved by Candu) for various engineering scopes of work and managed tasks.
IES’s QA program is compliant with CSA N285.0, CSA N286-12, CSA N286.7-16, and CSA N299.1-16 standards, and is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
IES is also equipped to conduct security clearances for OPG and Bruce Power internally.
Our Commitment
We focus on persisting in our contributions to First Nation communities during the third and fourth quarters of 2025 and years to come under our reconciliation action plan within our clients.
